SEPT 6, 13, 20, 27 OCT 4: Moda’s Ultimate Beginner Quilt Class
This is THE ultimate beginning quilt class! This class was designed by Moda fabrics with YOU in mind. We are going to walk you through each block so you learn everything from using a mat and rotary cutter for accurate cuts, piecing beginning from strip piecing to learning what “flying geese” are!! You will finish this class with a pieced quilt top that measures 50.5 in x 50.5 in.
Don’t know where to start with what you need? Please don’t worry! We will walk you through what is needed! You are welcome to use our classroom tools as well! The most important thing for YOU to have is a great relationship with your sewing machine! Although this is a beginning quilting class, it is not the same as a beginning sewing class!
Be prepared to have fun and learn basic quilt block techniques that will carry you forward on your next project!
Fabric may be purchased in a kit (additional cost), or feel free to pick out your own! Any items you need, including fabric, are discounted 15% for you.

| Skill Details: | Basic knowledge of your sewing machine |
| Requirements: | Need to have a 1/4” foot on your machine or the ability to sew a 1/4 seam. We can help you mark your machine for this. Basic sewing supplies including thread, bobbins, seam rippers, straight pins We will walk you through what other supplies you need including a mat and rotary cutter, rulers, etc. You are welcome to use those provided in the class room as needed. An ironing station is available in the classroom |
